I'm glad CNN found a new angle for a story about Second Life, but I'm willing to bet that those 300 IBM programmers in Second Life were there before Xcite (the SL sex animation company) was created. In other words, I think idea-testing has always been in Second Life, but the media got so wrapped up in more salacious details, they didn't bother to explore CNN's angle or talk to MIT.
